Hodgson Sayers has strengthened its commitment to developing young talent with the appointment of nine new apprentices across its operations.

The apprentices have joined in roles spanning flat roofing, bricklaying and groundwork, bringing the total number of apprentices employed by the Stanley-based company to thirteen.

Each apprentice is paired with an experienced mentor and will follow a programme that combines structured on-the-job training with classroom learning at Derwentside College in Consett.

The specialist roofing, building maintenance and security products firm operates nationally from its County Durham headquarters, with a further base in Nottingham.
