After almost a month and 800 miles of running across the country, Matthew Smith of Durham suicide prevention charity If U Care Share completed his epic summer challenge on Friday.
Matthew is co-founder at the charity and has spent recent weeks running between all twenty Premier League football grounds. He started in Bournemouth on August 5 - and was joined by friends, family and supporters on the run into Newcastle, where he ended at St James' Park, on August 30.
Matthew made it at around 3.30pm, and was met with a joyful embrace from partner Sophie Pounder. Matthew and mum Shirley, brother Ben and cousin Sarah started the charity more than a decade ago after his Matthew's brother Daniel O'Hare unexpectedly took his own life.
