International business based in County Durham is celebrating 40 years of success

Thorne & Derrick International, which has grown from a regional supplier into a global distributor of power systems, hazardous area equipment, and process heating solutions, is marking its 40th anniversary in 2025.
The company, based in Chester-le-Street, now serves customers in more than 70 countries and is using the milestone to highlight the impact of its apprenticeship programme.
