Newton Aycliffe based company Logico are excited to announce they are now the UK exclusive commercial provider for the award-winning MixerSURE training, which is dedicated to the Mixer and Tipper industry.
The accredited scheme offers a vocational qualification through EMPI awards, which is the only regulated qualification for mixer drivers worldwide and covers on-road site vehicle competence assessments (SVCA), as well as classroom training for drivers and operational staff.
The training has been accredited by The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for mixer drivers and delivers the most up-to-date industry related information. The courses are tailored to each manufacturer's operating instructions and align with BS EN 12609:2021 Truck Mixer Safety Requirements and further aligns with the DVSA Earned Recognition Scheme Concrete module.
MixerSURE is a recognised training standard for the ready-mix industry, it provides a unique insight into the complexities of driving and operating mixers and further provides managers within the supply chain with information on the responsibilities that are proven to prevent mixer rollovers, load security offences, site incidents, and additional maintenance issues.
Logico is focused on improving road safety for the mixer and tipper industry; they have developed the MixerSURE training for drivers into Driver CPC modules, the training is engaging and aimed at reducing rollover preventions, incidents and accidents, and emphasising the importance of safety at all times.
