Lord Lieutenant Tours Durham Innovation Hub at NETPark

On Friday, the Lord Lieutenant undertook a tour of key innovation sites across the region, including a visit to NETPark (North East Technology Park), one of the UK’s leading science, engineering and technology hubs.
During the visit, the Lord Lieutenant was welcomed by representatives from High Force Research, a specialist chemical R&D company based at NETPark. The tour provided an opportunity to showcase the cutting-edge work being carried out in the region and to highlight the role of NETPark in supporting high-growth businesses and advanced manufacturing.
The visit formed part of a wider programme to engage with local businesses and celebrate innovation and enterprise in County Durham.
