The Manufacturing Leaders Summit 2026 is rapidly gaining traction, with more than half of tickets already secured ahead of the event on Thursday 30th April at New College Durham.

Launched by Theo James Recruitment in partnership with New College Durham, the not-for-profit summit is bringing together leaders from across the manufacturing and engineering sectors for a day focused on insight, collaboration and industry progression.

The strong early uptake reflects a clear appetite within the sector for meaningful, in-person engagement - particularly events that go beyond surface-level discussion to deliver tangible commercial value.

Designed as a value-first experience for senior leaders, the summit will feature a full day of keynote talks, panel discussions and practical seminars. Each session has been carefully curated to provide actionable insight across key areas including leadership, operational performance, workforce development and the future of manufacturing.

The speaker line-up includes respected figures from across industry, engineering and high-performance environments, offering a blend of real-world experience and strategic thinking. Sessions will cover topics such as building high-performing cultures, unlocking additional output without significant capital investment, navigating automation and digital transformation, and strengthening leadership resilience in demanding environments.

In addition to keynote presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in targeted workshops designed to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the sector today - from skills shortages and workforce planning to maximising business value and improving operational efficiency.

While events of this calibre would typically command significantly higher ticket prices, the Manufacturing Leaders Summit has been deliberately positioned to maximise accessibility. Tickets are available for a recommended £15 charity donation, with 100% of proceeds going to the Red Sky Foundation.

The North East-based charity supports babies, children and young people living with heart conditions, ensuring that the impact of the event extends beyond the manufacturing community and into the wider region.

Built off the success of the Manufacturing Leaders Podcast, the summit represents the first time this growing community has been brought together at scale. It aims to create a platform for honest conversation, knowledge sharing and long-term collaboration across the sector.

With limited capacity remaining and demand continuing to build, organisers are encouraging those interested to secure their place soon to avoid missing out.
