Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds has spoken about his powerful attachment to the North East and how he is trying to help the smaller businesses that are ‘a massive part’ of the region’s success story.
Secretary of State for Business and Trade Jonathan Reynolds, who was born and brought up around Houghton-le-Spring in County Durham, said the pull of the region was a constant part of his life.
He had just launched ‘the most comprehensive support package in a generation’ to help small businesses in his home region, with a hard focus on late payments that can cripple SMEs.
