Mayor opens nursery as Bowburn school marks ‘exciting new chapter’

A Primary school at the heart of a County Durham community has launched an “exciting new chapter” with the opening of a new nursery.
The Mayor of Durham City, Councillor Gary Hutchinson, said he was “deeply honoured” to cut the ribbon to open Little Wings at Bowburn Primary School.
The purpose-built building is designed to provide high-quality early years education and care for children aged nine months to three years.
