Mentors set to inspire Stanley teenagers
The Girls’ Network with North Durham Academy mentees and mentors from Karbon Homes and RE:GEN

A mentoring initiative is set to connect teenage girls with professional role models through a new three-year partnership.


Year 9 pupils at North Durham Academy in Stanley are taking part in a programme delivered by The Girls’ Network, supported by volunteer mentors from Karbon Homes and RE:GEN. 


Officials say the scheme aims to help girls from underserved communities build confidence, raise aspirations and explore future career paths.
