Durham Print Company Wins Supreme Honour at FlexoTech Awards

A County Durham business supported through the Durham Business Growth Grant has achieved national recognition after winning two major categories at the FlexoTech International Print Awards 2025.
The Encore Group won the award for Best Print – Flexible Packaging (Narrow/Medium Web) on Paper and also took home the evening’s top accolade — the Supreme Award.
These prestigious awards celebrate excellence in flexographic printing worldwide, recognising innovation, precision and print quality across the industry.
According to the judges’ comment (Flexible Packaging – Paper):
“This company has shown that, yet again, it is really pushing the envelope in flexo print. Absolute class.”
Judges' comment (Supreme Award):
“This gained a unanimous vote from the judges as best in class. The execution of the job is flawless – a photo quality finish on paper. This print demonstrates the pinnacle of flexo printing, and without question deserves the top spot.”
The double award success reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability in every project it delivers. The recognition also highlights the strength of County Durham’s manufacturing and creative sectors.
Support from the Durham Business Growth Grant, delivered by Business Durham on behalf of Durham County Council, has helped the company to invest in new technology and continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in print.
