New 248-home Spennymoor development creates jobs and apprenticeships

A multi-million-pound infrastructure contract has been awarded in County Durham as a housebuilder is making its North East debut with a 248-home development.

Adderstone Civils has secured the contract from Strata to deliver roads, sewers and plotworks for the scheme in Spennymoor.

This marks Strata’s first project in the North East.

Jonathan Grant, managing director of Adderstone Civils, said: "This is a good example of what civil engineering can do when you think past roads and sewers.
