New College Durham is proud to announce that last week they won a further regional accolade in this year's North East Apprenticeship awards. This is in addition to the recent award by the North East Chamber of Commerce for Larger Business of the Year.
Apprentices, businesses and educational facilities from County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland were nominated across a range of categories. New College Durham won the award for Training Provider/Programme of the Year.
New College Durham is 1st in the North-East Region for apprenticeship provision across all ages and all levels. At the award ceremony last night there were no less than five current students and three business partners nominated for a range prizes.
