Work to replace a kilometre of old water pipes in rural County Durham has been completed.
The upgrades were carried out by Northumbrian Water on Cocken Road, west of Leamside, as part of a £450,000 investment to improve water quality and supply reliability in the area.
The project, delivered by Northumbrian Water’s partner United Infrastructure, was finished ahead of schedule.
