County Durham-based retrofit consultancy PasCheck is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Regional Energy Consultant/Consultancy of the Year category at the North East Energy Efficiency Awards 2025.
The awards, which celebrate excellence across the energy efficiency and retrofit sector, recognise organisations that are making a real and measurable impact on improving energy performance in homes and businesses across the region.
For PasCheck, this nomination is a welcome recognition of its commitment to providing expert guidance and practical support to social housing providers, contractors, and eco-installers, helping them navigate the complexities of PAS2035 compliance and retrofit coordination.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted,” said Andrew Lawton, Director of PasCheck.“This reflects not just the hard work of our team, but also the fantastic relationships we’ve built with clients who trust us to guide them through often complicated and changing regulations. To receive testimonials from leaders of the organisations we’ve worked with as part of this nomination has been especially rewarding.”
Founded to address the growing demand for independent and trusted PAS2035 support, PasCheck has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored, hands-on consultancy services. Unlike larger firms offering a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, PasCheck prides itself on its bespoke service, ensuring every client receives the right level of support for their unique project requirements.
In the past year, PasCheck has continued to grow, recently welcoming Daniel Georgeson to the team, to expand the consultancy’s capabilities. This strategic addition strengthens PasCheck’s ability to offer flexible, responsive services to a wider range of clients.
“Every project is different. Whether it's a social housing retrofit, ECO scheme support, or navigating PAS2035 compliance, our goal is always the same — to make the process straightforward, effective, and tailored to the client’s needs,” added Andrew.
PasCheck’s shortlisting reflects not only its technical expertise but also its ongoing commitment to supporting energy efficiency improvements across the North East, contributing to better housing standards, reduced energy bills, and a greener future.
The winners of the North East Energy Efficiency Awards will be announced at a prestigious ceremony on 5th June 2025, with a follow-up industry conference taking place on 6th June.
