Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) has had its County Durham Volunteer Kitemark re-awarded by Durham Community Action (DCA), recognising the charity’s commitment to going the extra mile to support its volunteers by removing barriers and creating safe, inclusive, and enriching experiences for both volunteers and service users.
This achievement reflects the incredible contribution of PCP’s volunteers. Between 2024 and 2025, PCP’s 251 volunteers supporting services across the region gave a remarkable 9,502 hours of their time.
It provides an in-kind value of £143,670 of support based on the Real Living Wage Foundation benchmark.
