A popular chain restaurant with venues across the country has opened a new eatery in County Durham.

Manjaros has opened in Peterlee, welcoming diners for the first time on Thursday (September 18).

Signs went up on York Road confirming the chain’s arrival in April.

Known for its fusion of African and Caribbean cuisine, the new restaurant is Manjaros 12th venue in the North East, and 19th overall.
