Raby Castle racing forward towards its annual classic car show

County Durham’s Raby Castle, Park and Gardens is gearing up for its annual Classic Car Show on Sunday 29th June, 10am – 4pm.
The event is a collaboration between Raby and Durham Automobile Club and has become a must-see event for many people in the classic car community.
Vintage vehicles and modern motors will be amongst the line up for car enthusiasts to explore in the stunning Deer Park, set within the historic grounds of the medieval fortress.
Tickets are on sale now for visitors and car owners alike. Car classics include pre-1960’s and brass cars, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, Millennium, modified and hot rods and even tractors for motorheads to marvel at.
During the day, Raby’s Estate Chef will be cooking up breakfast and lunch on the estate barbecue, where guests can expect sausage and bacon sandwiches in the morning followed by Raby Longhorn Beef and plant-based burgers from midday.
Tickets for the Classic Car Show are at an exclusive show rate which includes access to the stunning five-acre walled gardens and expansive deer park where the red and fallow deer roam, and Castle upgrades are also available. Visitors can make it a day out for the whole family and upgrade the Classic Car Show tickets to explore Raby Castle and The Plotters’ Forest woodland adventure playground. Simply visit the Round House on the day to upgrade or purchase online in advance for the best price and availability.
Classic Car Show tickets for visitors are available for adults at £12, £10 for children (ages 4-15 years) and £35 for a family (two adults and three children). A Classic Car Owner ticket is also bookable online starting at £5 with additional passengers, both adults and children, who can join for free.
