Sara Davies set to rescue crafting firm she launched at university

Dragons' Den star Sara Davies is set to rescue the crafting firm she founded when she was still at university, in a deal which will save the majority of jobs. Davies will also return to the company as chief executive. 

Crafter's Companion - headquartered in Newton Aycliffe - manufactures and supplies crafting products including stamps, dies and die-cutting machines, embossing folders and cards. 

It was established in 2005 in Davies' university bedroom.
