A new series of events aiming at uniting artists and creative professionals has been launched in County Durham.
The Spotlight Series is part of the Into the Light programme, the county’s flagship cultural initiative, and aims to spark conversations about the future of the cultural sector by encouraging collaboration, reflection, and long-term planning.
The first event, held at Durham University, welcomed artists, freelancers, and representatives from cultural organisations for an open discussion about County Durham’s creative identity, successes, and the areas where further support is needed.
