A street food market has been praised for its ability to unite communities and boost footfall in a County Durham town centre, according to a new survey.
The bi-monthly market in Stanley has quickly become a favourite among residents, with visitors describing it as something that "brings light" to the town.
The lively event combines street food with entertainment and street theatre and is organised by Baccanalia, a food market specialist, with sponsorship from Karbon Homes.
