UTC South Durham Celebrates 10 Years with Special Business Breakfast
Businesses from across County Durham are being invited to join UTC South Durham as it marks a major milestone with a special business breakfast celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Taking place on Thursday 5 November, from 8am to 10am, the event will bring together employers, partners and supporters who have played a key role in the UTC's success over the last decade.
Hosted at UTC South Durham, the breakfast will provide an opportunity to network with like-minded businesses, strengthen connections across the region and learn more about how employers can help shape the next generation of technical talent.
As part of the celebration, guests will have the chance to meet fellow employers who are passionate about developing skills and creating opportunities for young people pursuing careers in engineering, digital and technical industries.
The event will also feature a very special guest who will present a series of awards recognising the contributions of partners and supporters. With a memorable morning planned, organisers are encouraging as many businesses as possible to attend. Please note that members of the press may also be present.
Looking ahead to the future, UTC South Durham will use the event to launch recruitment for its Employer Board. While not a governing body, the board plays an important role in supporting the UTC's strategic vision, helping to ensure its curriculum and opportunities continue to align with industry needs.
For businesses keen to influence the future workforce, share industry knowledge and strengthen links with education, joining the Employer Board offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.
Whether you are an existing partner, a local employer or an organisation interested in developing future talent, the breakfast promises to be a valuable opportunity to connect, celebrate and explore future collaboration.
