Weardale Railway to run gin and cheese event in October

A scenic journey pairing gin, cheese, and countryside views is returning to the tracks of a County Durham heritage railway this Autumn.
Weardale Railway’s Gin & Cheese Train will depart from Bishop Auckland West on October 25th, offering guests a three-hour round trip to Stanhope through the picturesque Durham Dales.
The journey will take passengers through Witton-le-Wear, Wolsingham, Kingfisher Halt, and Frosterley, combining scenic views with North East flavours.
