Durham University Summer Careers Fair – Bookings Now Open

Durham University is pleased to introduce an additional event in our annual programme: the Summer Careers Fair, taking place on Wednesday 10 June 2026, from 1.00–4.00pm at the Teaching and Learning Centre, Stockton Road, Durham.
This new fair complements our established autumn events and offers employers another opportunity to meet students at a key point in the academic year. The fair welcomes organisations of all sizes and sectors, including regional small and medium-sized enterprises, national graduate recruiters, charities, public sector organisations and employers offering alternative career routes. It provides an excellent platform to promote immediate start roles alongside graduate schemes, internships and other opportunities for the following year.
We are particularly keen to highlight the strong and viable graduate careers available in the North East and to support employers wishing to raise their visibility among Durham students.
Students from all year groups are encouraged to attend. The fair is especially valuable for final-year students graduating this summer who are seeking immediate roles, penultimate-year students preparing for applications ahead of graduation, and students at the early stages of their career thinking who want to explore a broad range of pathways. It also offers a dedicated opportunity for those wishing to remain in the North East to meet regional employers and learn more about local opportunities.
