County Durham-based engineering firm Dyer has been named regional winner in the “Developing Future Talent” category at the Make UK Awards.
County Durham-based engineering firm Dyer has been named regional winner in the “Developing Future Talent” category at the Make UK Awards, recognising its commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers.
The award celebrates Dyer’s Apprenticeship Programme, delivered in partnership with New College Durham, which is helping to address industry skills gaps, mentor young talent, and promote careers in engineering and manufacturing across the region.
Supported by a £1.625 million investment from Maven Capital Partners, Dyer has recently formed the SST Group, driving future growth and strengthening its position within the sector.
Representatives from Dyer attended the regional ceremony in Harrogate and will now go on to compete at the national Make UK Awards finals.
