Excelpoint rebrands no-code platform as Builda and enters next growth phase
Ian Brown, CEO of Excelpoint

Excelpoint, the Newton Aycliffe-based provider of enterprise no-code software, has announced the rebrand of its AI-powered technology platform to Builda, marking the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for the company.

The rebrand follows strategic investment from MCS Rental Software and Ventrivo, supporting Excelpoint’s plans for continued innovation and expansion.

The new Builda brand reflects the platform’s ability to help organisations rapidly design and build bespoke business systems, often in weeks rather than months. By replacing disconnected legacy processes with agile, scalable digital tools, Builda empowers businesses to automate workflows, improve compliance, and accelerate operational efficiency.

Combining no-code development with AI-powered capabilities, Builda enables organisations to create tailored applications, workflows and operational tools for virtually any requirement, including CRM, compliance, risk management, asset management, reporting, inspections, and operational process control.

As organisations face increasing pressure to modernise legacy systems while controlling development costs, no-code solutions are becoming a key component of digital transformation strategies.

Based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, Excelpoint has supported organisations for more than two decades, helping customers including Cyclife (EDF Energy), Anglian Water, Kaefer, Durham County Council, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Age UK, Modeshift and Aura Infection Control to digitise operations and streamline critical business processes.

As the company enters this next chapter, its experienced team, trusted support, and consultative approach will remain at the heart of the Builda customer experience. Through a combination of fully managed delivery services and self-build no-code capabilities, Builda will continue to support clients at every stage of their digital transformation journey.

Ian Brown, CEO of Excelpoint, commented:

“Builda reflects what our platform enables organisations to do: rapidly build tailored business systems without the cost and complexity of traditional software development. Backed by strategic investment, we are accelerating product innovation and expanding our reach while maintaining the expert support and service our customers value.”
