Exhibition at Bishop Auckland celebrates women who move, lead and inspire

An exhibition celebrating women who move, lead and inspire is set to open at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.

The exhibition titled she thrives is part of a wider campaign by Durham County Council running throughout March, aimed at celebrating women involved in all forms of physical activity across the region.

Councillor Howard Brown, the council’s cabinet member for adult and health services, said: "This fantastic exhibition hopes to honour women who keep showing up, are strong in their own way, active on their own terms, and who thrive in the face of whatever is coming their way next.
