House builder 'speeds up' opening of County Durham nursery with donation

A County Durham nursery has praised a house-building company for speeding up its opening by donating hundreds of pounds.

Taylor Wimpey North East gave Little Comets Nursery, in Chester-le-Street, £500 to be used for carpet and furniture for the nursery’s home corner.

The nursery, which is set to open in September 2025, thanked the housebuilder for its support and said that the donation 'sped up' the opening process.
