Lighting firm aiming to shine brighter after deal

A lighting firm says it has switched on growth plans after completing an acquisition.
Artech Lighting has taken on Powerlite Fitzgerald’s trade and assets. Under the terms of the deal – structured as a hire purchase with an ownership option – bosses say Powerlite Fitzgerald will operate as a separate entity primarily focused on UK wholesale operations.
They add Artech Lighting – based on Meadowfield Industrial Estate, near Durham City – will continue working across global commercial construction markets.
