Tech firm dials up growth with £5.9 million contract
A satellite communication parts firm has strengthened its order book with a £5.9 million deal.
Filtronic is set to supply equipment to an unnamed US-based customer.

Bosses say the “significant” agreement will see the business design, develop and build prototype units for satellite deployment.
The deal follows two tie-ups worth more than £6 million with the same client and comes after Filtronic – headquartered at NETPark, in Sedgefield, County Durham – unveiled a string of deals with operators including SpaceX and Airbus.
