A marine engineer is cheering a best-ever order book after landing a £7 million-plus deal.
Based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, Tekmar Group is set to supply cable protection equipment to a UK offshore wind farm.
Bosses say the “significant” agreement means the firm has chalked up a record £29 million order book.
They add it “reinforces the company’s position as the clear market leader in subsea asset protection”, revealing its latest agreement – with an existing customer – will be supplied in early 2027.
