A marine engineering company has secured a £7 million renewables deal.
Tekmar Group is set to supply a power cable protection system to a “major UK offshore wind farm”.
Bosses say the apparatus – for an existing unnamed customer – will be delivered in late 2027.
They add the deal, which builds on a recent £7 million-plus agreement and a £3 million Middle East tie-up, emphasises County Durham-headquartered Tekmar’s “proven track record in delivering reliable, technically robust protection technology”.
