New scheme aims to shine light on solar savings

A new group-buying scheme is aiming to help North East homeowners take greater control of their energy costs by making solar technology more accessible.


North East mayor Kim McGuinness has launched the initiative through the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority, in partnership with Switch Together.


The scheme uses collective buying power to secure competitive offers for solar panels and battery storage from vetted installers.
