Peterlee-based Everflow is Retailer of the Year at industry awards

Everflow, one of the UK’s leading business utility providers, has been awarded the Water Retailer of the Year title at the Water Industry Awards.

The awards celebrates the best practices in the UK water sector, highlighting how the industry is driving forward change and innovation.

Peterlee-based Everflow was particularly recognised for:

• Supporting business customers to improve water efficiency and affordability

• Innovatively supporting customers to run more efficient businesses

• Employing strong engagement strategies, utilising data and technology, and offering tariff innovation.

• Demonstrating strong social, environmental, and governance initiatives and collaborating with the supply chain and the wider water sector to tackle common challenges

  
  

In 2021, Everflow was the first retailer to make all their customers’ water and wastewater supplies carbon neutral. It also signed The Climate Pledge, which commits them to being net zero carbon by 2040 across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 of the GHG Protocol – ten years ahead of The Paris Agreement (2050)
