Students strive for success in UTC South Durham program

Students have pitched innovative solutions to real-world business problems in a showcase of industry-led learning.


UTC South Durham hosted its Industry Projects 2026 event on Thursday, March 26, giving pupils the chance to present ideas developed through 12-week projects with regional employers.


Year 10 and sixth form students tackled live briefs set by companies including Tekmar, Meldrum Construction, Costain, SNOP, and Sunderland University.
