The Durham Genome Centre in Lanchester, Co. Durham is delighted to announce the launch of an innovative bio data service, ChXhealth.co.uk, which puts you in control of your own health and wellbeing!

‘Welcome to the future of you’

The service is already coming out top in the UK as a “Biohacking” service, the trending practice of making small, intentional changes to your nutrition, lifestyle, and biology.

ChXhealth® gives you a unique opportunity to access a wide range of biomarker and genetic tests for longevity, weight loss, nutritional status and biohacking.

There are also with specific packages to give you insight into your heart health, diabetes status, liver function, inflammation state and kidney function, among others. By removing traditional barriers, the service enables clients to proactively monitor their health without long waiting times!

ChXhealth® was started by Katie Lamb and Oliver Sullivan, two local graduates who are both took an interest in monitoring their own biomarkers. Oliver commented, “We’ve both seen a noticeable increase in our physical and mental performance. This technology can’t be overlooked, especially at a time when we need to be incredibly careful about how we treat our bodies, given the additives and chemicals in modern foods”.

Katie, who runs the clinic, said “we will be pleased to welcome you to Lanchester for one of our regular sampling sessions and to help you on your journey to a healthier life”.

At the heart of the service is a nationwide network of more than forty partner clinics, supported by the flagship location in Lanchester.

These clinics offer sample collection appointments that typically last around 30 minutes and are delivered by friendly, highly trained staff. Every step of the process is designed to be straightforward and reassuring, making wellbeing and preventative health testing easier and more approachable for people from all backgrounds. Once processed, results are provided quickly - typically within just a few days. Reports can be delivered digitally or as a printed PDF, depending on user preference. Each report features a clear, easy-to-read layout that includes visual biomarker scales, healthy ranges and plain-language explanations, which is also suitable for sharing with a healthcare professional if required.

To further support users, ChXhealth® offers optional follow-up guidance from an extended team with nutrition and sports advice both available. These sessions provide personalised insights into what the results may mean for an individual’s lifestyle, wellbeing and to discuss with you possible next steps. This level of support reinforces ChXhealth®’s goal of not only providing accurate data but helping people take meaningful action based on it.
