The Leadership Balancing Act

Being a business leader today can often feel like spinning plates.
People issues. Strategic decisions. Growth pressures. Change coming from every direction.
And somewhere in the middle of all that, you are expected to keep your teams motivated, your organisation moving forwards and your own thinking clear.
It’s no wonder many leaders, like yourself, say they rarely get the chance to step back and reflect on how they are actually leading.
A new initiative being introduced in the North East aims to create that space.
The Human Leader Programme has been developed by Liz Pattinson of Pattinson & Milburn Training Ltd and Jane Fisher of Jane Fisher Associates Ltd, two highly experienced leadership practitioners who have worked with organisations across both the public and private sectors for many years.
Between them they bring decades of practical experience supporting leaders to navigate change, develop their people and strengthen organisational performance.
Their belief is simple:
Strong organisations are built by leaders who combine strategic clarity with human understanding.
The programme explores six dimensions of leadership that organisations increasingly need today:
The Human Leader, The People Leader, The Strategic Leader, The Change Leader, The Culture & Wellbeing Leader, and The Growth Leader.
Together, these form the Human Leader Framework – a practical approach to helping leaders navigate complexity while bringing their people with them.
The programme is delivered through a flexible modular structure, allowing organisations to participate in the full programme or choose modules that address specific leadership challenges.
To introduce the programme, an interactive taster session will be delivered at upcoming network events.
Rather than a traditional presentation, the session will invite you to explore the real leadership tensions you and other organisations face today and reflect on the kind of leadership your organisation needs now and into the future.
Because in a world of constant change, leadership isn’t just about having answers.
It’s about developing the capability to lead people, performance and possibility.
