The Three Bridges pub, located on Durham's North Road, shut earlier this month as £250,000 renovation works got underway to "upgrade our facilities, aiming to enhance the customer experience".
The popular drinking hole is expected to reopen in October, with a new schedule of events to match their fresh interior.
The comprehensive refurbishment will see the installation of "state of the art lighting", and the creation of a new stage area for live music performances.
