Durham-based visual artist Sarah Nelson is celebrating a major milestone in her creative journey – the completion of her own bespoke studio and workshop space in the heart of the Dales.
Her inspiring story was recently showcased on the popular Channel 4 series Grand Designs, bringing national attention not only to her artistic work but also to the support and opportunities provided by Business Durham.
Sarah’s ambitious vision to build a creative sanctuary surrounded by nature was made possible with assistance from Business Durham’s Durham Start-Up programme and ongoing mentoring through the Growth & Productivity programmes. These initiatives have offered tailored guidance and resources, helping Sarah grow her business with confidence and resilience.
