Boniplas Ltd Appoints Paul Midgley as Chief Operating Officer

Boniplas Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Midgley as Chief Operating Officer (COO), further strengthening the company’s senior leadership team as it accelerates the delivery of its Business Growth Plan.

Paul joins Belmont-based Boniplas with more than 20 years of senior operational leadership experience across manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce fulfilment, field service and multi-site operations. His career spans both large blue-chip organisations and high-growth SMEs, bringing a strong blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution.

In his new role, Paul will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the business, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality, compliance and systems, while working closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to translate Boniplas’ strategic ambitions into scalable operational performance.

Paul has held senior roles including General Manager, Regional Operations Director and Divisional Operations Leader, with full accountability for P&L performance, EBITDA delivery, systems implementation and multi-disciplinary team leadership. He has a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in productivity, service levels and profitability, including turning underperforming operations into high-performing, profitable businesses.

Throughout his career, Paul has led major initiatives covering ERP and systems implementation, lean manufacturing, supply chain optimisation and logistics network design, while operating in both highly regulated environments and fast-moving commercial markets. He is also recognised for successfully modernising owner-managed and family-run businesses, introducing structure, governance and performance frameworks to support sustainable growth.

As Chief Operating Officer, Paul’s initial focus at Boniplas will include:

· Executing an operations strategy aligned to the company’s Business Growth Plan

· Strengthening supply chain resilience, efficiency and scalability

· Enhancing manufacturing performance and product quality standards

· Optimising logistics and distribution to support customer service excellence

· Implementing robust KPIs, systems and processes to enable data-driven decision-making

· Developing high-performing teams and strengthening cross-functional collaboration

Paul will also play a key role in supporting new product development, ERP evolution and future distribution expansion, ensuring Boniplas’ operational foundations are fit for long-term, sustainable growth.
