County Durham Engineer wins £2 million Middle East pipeline deal

Tekmar Group is set to design and make reinforced concrete support structures for a gas pipeline– to be supplied and shipped to an existing customer in early autumn.


They add the deal boosts the County Durham-headquartered firm’s “unrivalled track record of delivering engineered solutions to complex offshore projects globally”.


The agreement comes just days after officials at the company, which operates from Aycliffe Business Park, predicted a “strong” order intake across the second half of its financial year, and revealed the firm was positioned for “growth like never before” after earnings reached a five-year high.
