County Durham Tyre fitter 'set to drive on' after £500,000 investment

A car repair and tyre-fitting firm says it is in gear for growth following a £500,000 expansion.


NB Tyres has opened Newcastle and Middlesbrough service centres, bolstered its mobile servicing fleet and centralised operations at its Durham head office.


Bosses say the outlay has also created 13 jobs – taking the firm’s workforce beyond 50 – leaving it “well positioned to continue contributing to the regional economy”.
