Plans to build an Aldi foodstore in Durham look set to progress.
The discount retailer wants to construct the store on land to the north of Mill Road, within the Langley Moor and Littleburn Industrial Estate.
Full planning permission is sought to demolish the existing industrial building on the site, to make way for the retail store, which would measure about 71 metres by 36 metres.
