Bishop Auckland College is proud to launch its brand new Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship, designed to equip learners with the essential, multi-trade skills needed in today’s workforce.
Covering areas such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, joinery, tiling, and painting and decorating, preparing apprentices for careers in facilities management, housing associations, schools, and commercial property maintenance.
“Our new Property Maintenance apprenticeship is a direct response to the needs of local employers and the wider construction sector,” says Adam Heslop, Senior Business Development Advisor.
“It reflects our commitment to providing practical, career-focused education that leads to meaningful employment opportunities.”
Several students have already started their apprenticeship journey this week, including two employed by C&A Maintenance, a trusted Crook-based company with over 40 years of experience in the industry.
We're proud to be partnering with C&A Maintenance, who share our commitment to developing local talent.
Director Chris Anderson commented:
“We pride ourselves on nurturing and developing young adults from the local community who are committed to learning their trade.”
