The move sees the Chester le Street headquartered company score all three of the top quality certifications for the tech industry, putting the official stamp of approval on its services.

ISO20000 is the global benchmark for IT service management systems, demonstrating an ability to consistently provide high quality services that meet and exceed customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement.

ITPS CEO Simon Newton said: “ISO20000 is the quality certification that all IT service companies aspire to achieve, and it reflects the dedication and hard work of our team, who consistently strive for excellence in everything they do.

ISO20000 is increasingly demanded across the supply chain. It is official confirmation of our ability to deliver the highest level of customer service and a real coup for our business.”

The recommendation followed a four-day audit by British Standards Institute auditors, who interviewed staff from across the business, and sampled documentary evidence of policies and processes to validate the verbal evidence.

ITPS Head of Governance Michael McCarroll added: “Within our quality circle ISO27001 shows we are secure, ISO9000 demonstrates our quality management and assurance, and adding ISO20000 is the benchmark of our service delivery. It’s the equivalent of having the holy trinity of quality certifications and sets us apart within our industry.

We achieved ISO20000 without any non-conformances, which is rare for an organisation on its first application. The auditors were very impressed with the level of engagement among our team, which clearly shows that for us, quality is not just a box-ticking exercise.”
