Durham Independents campaign, organised by Durham BID, is aimed at celebrating the city’s homegrown shops, cafes and restaurants and encouraging people to explore what they have to offer.

More than 50 independent businesses are taking part in the campaign, which runs until August 30th. They include Durham Ginstitute, Anderson’s Greengrocers, Moon Jewellery, Circle Vintage, Fusha restaurant and many more – including businesses inside Durham’s Market Hall.

Visitors can collect a loyalty card from the participating businesses. They will get a stamp when they purchase a product and once they have three stamps from three different businesses, they will be entered into a prize draw.

Five winners will be announced each week – and will receive £100 worth of vouchers, which they can spend in the participating stores.
