Shower manufacturer CEO upbeat after reducing losses and securing major new customers

The chief executive of a Newton Aycliffe-based shower manufacturer is looking forward to a "very positive next few years" after seeing an improvement in activity levels and narrowed losses.

Roman Showers, which was established more than 35 years ago, manufactures products such as enclosures, bath screens, wetroom panels, walk-ins, shower trays and accessories. 


Newly filed accounts have shown that in the 18 month period ending 30 September 2023, turnover was £38.8m. 


This is up from £22m in the 12 months to 31 March 2022. When applying a pro-rated 12-month figure for 2023 it represents a turnover increase of 18 per cent.
